About this product
Amoxicillin is a bactericidal antibiotic that fights infections by stopping the growth and spread of bacteria. The addition of potassium clavulanate (a beta-lactamase inhibitor) prevents certain bacteria from developing drug resistance against the amoxicillin. Common Uses: Chest infections (pneumonia), sinus infections, ear infections, dental abscesses, and urinary tract infections. Dosage: Typically taken with food to prevent stomach upset, at evenly spaced intervals (usually 2 to 3 times a day). Important Note: This medication only treats bacterial infections; it will not work for viral illnesses like the common cold or flu
