Covimectin 12mg is an oral prescription antiparasitic medication containing the active ingredient Ivermectin. It is primarily used to treat parasitic worm and mite infestations (such as strongyloidiasis and scabies) by paralyzing and killing the parasites. USES Intestinal/Skin Parasites: Treats strongyloidiasis (intestinal threadworm) and onchocerciasis (river blindness).Ectoparasites: Frequently prescribed off-label for scabies (mite infestations) and head lice.Mechanism: Binds to muscle and nerve channels in parasites, causing fatal paralysis while safely passing through the human body.
