How we work

Editorial policy

Kam4eu publishes information about medicines and the conditions they treat. Health content can affect real decisions, so this page sets out who writes it, which sources we rely on and in what order, how often it is reviewed, and how to tell us when something is wrong.

Who writes and checks our content

Guides, ingredient and condition pages and product information are researched, written and checked by the Kam4eu editorial team, and are attributed to the team rather than to an individual. No named doctor or pharmacist currently reviews our content, so we do not show one. If a registered clinician joins the review process, their name and registration details will be shown on the pages they review.

The aim of every page is to explain what a medicine is, how it works, its known side effects and interactions, who should not take it and when to see a doctor — not simply to sell a product.

Our sources, in order of priority

  1. EU product information. The Summary of Product Characteristics (SmPC), package leaflet and European Public Assessment Report (EPAR) published by the European Medicines Agency (EMA). Doses, contraindications, interactions and side effects come from here first.
  2. European clinical guidelines. The European Association of Urology (EAU) Guidelines on Sexual and Reproductive Health for erectile dysfunction and ejaculation disorders, and the relevant European or international guidance (for example WHO and ECDC) for other topics.
  3. Peer-reviewed references. Clinical reviews such as StatPearls on the NCBI Bookshelf and peer-reviewed studies, used to explain mechanisms and context.

When sources disagree, the higher one wins. Many of the generic brands we sell are not authorised by the EMA; when we describe their active ingredient, we use the EU product information for an authorised medicine containing the same substance. We link the sources we cite; the source links on product, ingredient and condition pages are checked to load before they are published.

What we will not publish

  • Statistics, ratings, review counts or success rates that we cannot trace to a real source or to our own records.
  • Claims that a medicine works better, faster or more safely than its sources support.
  • Anything suggesting a medicine can be taken without medical advice. Every medicine we list is a prescription-only medicine in the EU/EEA.

Review cycle and dates

The medicine information on our product, ingredient and condition pages is reviewed at least every 12 months. The current review was completed on and the next is due by . We review a page earlier when the EMA publishes a safety update, a guideline we rely on is revised, or a reader reports a problem.

Guides carry their own dates. Pages show these dates separately: when a guide was published, when its medical information was last reviewed, and, if the page changed after that review, when it was last updated. We never move a review date forward unless the review actually took place.

Corrections

If you believe something is wrong or out of date, email info@kam4eu.com with the page address and, if you can, the source that shows the error. We check the report against the sources above. If it is right, we correct the page and update its date, so readers can see that it changed.

Commercial interest and limits

Kam4eu sells the medicines it writes about. That is a commercial interest, and you should weigh our content with it in mind. The medical facts on our pages come from the sources above, not from sales considerations.

Our content is educational and is not a substitute for professional medical advice — see our medical disclaimer. Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before starting any medicine, and obtain a valid prescription. In an emergency, call 112.
