Pain Relief

Centrally-acting muscle relaxants based on Carisoprodol — sold under the Pain-O-Soma and Prosoma brand names. Used for acute musculoskeletal pain (typically back pain, shoulder strain, post-injury spasm) as a short-term adjunct to physiotherapy or rest. Carisoprodol should not be used for more than 2–3 weeks at a time.
